Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is currently seeking reliable and conscientious Cleaning Team Members to join our Estates Environmental Services Team. These roles are essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors across all College campuses. We currently have two part-time positions available, each working 10 hours per week, with working hours of 06:30 – 08:30.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Carrying out cleaning duties in line with agreed cleaning schedules across offices, classrooms, corridors, toilets, and other designated areas.
  • Replenishing consumables such as toilet rolls, soap, and sanitary products.
  • Operating cleaning equipment where required and maintaining the cleanliness and security of cleaning rooms.
  • Reporting defects, maintenance issues, unlocked doors, suspicious activity, or health and safety concerns in accordance with College procedures.
  • Supporting periodic deep cleans, emergency cleaning requirements, recycling, and waste disposal initiatives.
  • Working cooperatively with other members of the Estates Team and adhering to all Estates and College policies and procedures.
