Blackpool & The Fylde College have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Bid, Proposal and Awards Manager at our Bispham campus . You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, we will offer a competitive salary of £60,000 per annum.

Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is on the lookout for a passionate and ambitious Bid, Proposal and Awards Manager to join our forward-thinking team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on writing compelling content, managing successful bids, and showcasing organisational excellence through high-quality award submissions. Experience within the education sector is ideally preferred. Flexibility is available around the number of days spent in the office, offering a supportive and balanced working environment.
Key Responsibilities of our Bid, Proposal and Awards Manager:
As a pivotal member of our Business Development team, your role will be varied, strategic, and rewarding. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the development of successful, compliant, and commercially viable bids and tenders in line with funding and partnership opportunities.
- Scanning the external environment to identify and assess project and funding opportunities, making informed bid/no-bid decisions.
- Coordinating information gathering, working collaboratively across departments to prepare strategic documents and compelling award submissions that highlight B&FC\’s impact and achievements.
- Creating high-quality, clear, and persuasive content tailored to target audiences, while ensuring all submissions meet internal quality standards and deadlines.
- Supporting project handovers and contract compliance by integrating funding audit requirements and monitoring responsibilities into delivery plans.
