As an HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver (Refuse Driver), you will be responsible for carrying out residential and commercial waste collections across East Lothian, working alongside a team of loaders to complete routes safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on Class 2 driving role ideal for reliable drivers with experience in waste management, refuse collection, or dustcart driving.
Key responsibilities:- Driving a Class 2 dustcart / refuse vehicle
- Completing scheduled waste and recycling collections
- Working alongside and supporting a team of refuse loaders
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
- Following all health & safety and waste management regulations
- Completing all route paperwork and documentation accurately
- Delivering a professional and reliable waste collection service
- £17.93 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
