7.5 Tonne Sweeper Driver – £14.90 per hour – Charnwood – Immediate Starts (2 Roles Available)

We are currently recruiting 7.5 Tonne Sweeper Drivers in Charnwood for ongoing, well-paid work at £14.90 per hour with immediate starts available. If you’re looking for consistent hours, competitive pay, and long-term opportunities, this is a role worth applying for.

Responsibilities

• Driving and operating specialised street sweeping machinery
• Sweeping designated road channels, footways and public areas, often removing debris, leaves or litter
• Carrying out bulky waste collection as per the contract requirement and specification across any rounds required
• Leading a round for the safe and successful completion of the daily operations in a 7.5 tonne vehicle

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good teamwork and a positive work attitude
• Self‑motivated
• Willingness to undertake further training
• Must maintain a relevant driving licence and be responsible for notifying us if the licence is revoked for any reason
• Must hold a C1 category licence
• Ensure compliance with fleet requirements, correctly recording working hours, defects and other compliance requirements
• Must hold a CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Minimum 6 months experience preferred
• Good understanding of UK driving regulations
