We are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Mechanical Sweeper Driver in Welwyn Garden City for ongoing work with a busy and well-established operation.
Paying £18.82 per hour, this is a great opportunity for an experienced Class 2 Sweeper Driver looking for consistent Monday to Friday work, regular early shifts, and reliable weekly pay.

The Role
As a Class 2 Mechanical Sweeper Driver, you will operate a mechanical road sweeper, carrying out scheduled sweeping and cleaning duties across local areas.
Key duties include:
- Operating a Class 2 Mechanical Sweeper
- Completing scheduled road and site sweeping
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks
- Reporting any defects or maintenance issues
- Following health & safety procedures
- Maintaining a professional standard of work
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 / Category C Licence
- Valid CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous mechanical sweeper experience is essential
- Good knowledge of road safety and health & safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
Shift Pattern
Monday to Friday 05:00 - 13:00
