Job Description
As an HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver, you will be responsible for carrying out residential and commercial waste collections across Hereford and the surrounding areas. Working alongside a team of loaders, you will ensure all collections are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This is a hands-on driving role within the waste management sector, offering consistent work and a reliable workload.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving a Class 2 dustcart vehicle on designated collection routes
- Completing residential and commercial waste collections
- Working alongside a team of refuse loaders
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety and road traffic regulations
- Completing route paperwork and vehicle documentation
- Providing a professional and reliable waste collection service
