We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative to join our team at a busy builders merchants in Suffolk
This is a hands‑on, role where you'll play an important part in keeping the site safe, clean, and running efficiently. If you enjoy practical work, can work well as part of a team, and have a strong work ethic, we'd like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick orders
- Unload and load customers and vehicles
- Keeping the branch tidy
- Possibly serving customers in the yard
- Must have a current forklift licence
- Good communicator
Essential:
- A positive attitude and willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
Working Hours and Pay:
- Full‑time
- £15 per hour
