As an HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver (Refuse Driver), you will be responsible for completing scheduled residential and commercial waste collection routes, working alongside a team of loaders to ensure collections are completed safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on Class 2 driving role within a busy waste management operation, ideal for reliable drivers with previous dustcart or refuse collection experience.
Key responsibilities include:- Driving a Class 2 dustcart / refuse vehicle
- Completing waste and recycling collections on planned routes
- Supervising and supporting a team of loaders
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety and waste regulations
- Completing all route paperwork and documentation accurately
- Maintaining professional standards of customer service and driving
- £20.00 per hour

- Full-time, ongoing work throughout July & August

Due to operational requirements, no holiday requests will be approved during July and August.
Requirements:- Valid HGV Class 2 Licence (Category C)
- CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)

- Good understanding of UK driving and safety regulations
- Reliable, punctual, and team-focused attitude
