The Environment: Blackmore Commercials Ltd was established in 1985 and is a family-run business based at Colwick Nottingham. Offering services, maintenance, and repairs to DVLA standards for all types of vehicles in the commercial industry.
To Join Us, we would like a candidate with:
- A technical qualification relating to commercial vehicles (City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent)
- A valid full car driving license required - essential
- An HGV license required preferred but not essential
- Own tools required
- A good knowledge of vehicle makes and an understanding of electronics and diagnostics
- To be efficient, methodical, organised and disciplined
- Flexibility to prioritise your own workload whilst supporting the team
- To be responsive and willing to learn, receive training, developing both yourself and those around you
- The ability and motivation to work on your own initiative
- A broad understanding of commercial vehicles ideally having at least 3 years experience
- Experience in using R2C preferred but not essential
- Experience at preparing job cards and service sheets accurately
Work Schedule:
- Job Types: Full-time or part-time, Permanent, Monday to Friday
- Any hours worked each week (up to 40) during the hours of 7.00 am to 6.00 pm will be paid at standard rate (up to £20 per hour depending on experience)
- After 8 hours worked each day, overtime rate will be applied
- Saturdays working hours 07.00 am to 1.00 pm, if worked overtime rate will be applied
