Blackmore Commercials Ltd was established in 1985 and is a family run business based at Colwick Nottingham.

Offering services, maintenance, and repairs to DVLA standards for all types of vehicles in the commercial industry.

  • A technical qualification relating to commercial vehicles (City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ level 3 or equivalent)
  • A valid full car driving license required -essential
  • An HGV license required – preferred but not essential
  • Own Tools Required,
  • A good knowledge of vehicles makes and an understanding of electronics and diagnostics
  • To be efficient, methodical, organised and disciplined.
  • Flexibility – able to prioritise your own workload whilst supporting the team
  • To be responsive and willing to learn, receive training, developing both yourself and those around you
  • The ability and motivation to work on your own initiative.
  • A broad understanding of commercial vehicles ideally having at least 3 years’ experience
  • Experience in using R2C – preferred but not essential
  • Experience at preparing job cards and service sheets accurately.

Work Schedule

  • Job Types: Full-time. or part-time, Permanent,
  • Monday – Friday

Any hours worked each week (up to 40 ) during the hours of 7.00 am – 6.00 pm will be paid at standard rate. After 8 hours worked each day overtime rate applied.

  • Saturdays
  • Working hours 07.00 am- 1.00 pm, if worked overtime rate will be applied
  • Competitive rate of pay with overtime rate.
  • Hourly rate up to £20 per hour depending on experience, overtime rate available when worked.
