About Us
Blackmont Consulting is a student-led consulting organization established in 2020 that supports client projects through structured analysis and research. Project teams work on defined business cases focused on performance improvement and decision support. Consulting team members collaborate on assigned projects with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to research, analysis, and client deliverables.
Key duties include:
- Working in teams of 6-8 to tackle real-world business problems over the course of the project.
- Market trends predictions and suggestions.
- Developing solutions for complex client situations to ensure meeting of goals and objectives and deliver results on time.
- Development of primary research sources among industry contacts and customers, suppliers, and competitors of the companies you are researching.
- Understanding sector, currency, political, and regulatory risks where applicable.
- Financial analysis and modeling of companies under your coverage.
- Analyzing financial performance, returns on capital and valuation.
- Determining, developing, and delivering innovative strategies and tools to target new and current clients.
- Identifying information sources, gathering, and interpreting data, executing analysis, and presenting findings to case team members and client stakeholders.

Requirements:
- Be through your first, second or last year at university. Master’s and PhD students are also accepted.

Please note that the membership is allocated to cover the website, software programs and the courses and training we give at Blackmont. We are a non-profit organization, and we don’t charge our clients, but we do have costs to cover.
