- Role Description
The Consultant (Volunteer – Student only) role is an internship position designed for current students interested in gaining hands‑on consulting experience while contributing to social impact initiatives.
In this remote role, consultants collaborate with project teams to analyze client needs, conduct market and organizational research, and develop actionable recommendations for NGOs, nonprofits, and early‑stage ventures.
Day‑to‑day tasks may include gathering and synthesizing data, preparing presentations and reports, participating in virtual client meetings, and supporting the design of strategies for operations, marketing, or growth.
Consultants are encouraged to take ownership of assigned workstreams, contribute ideas during team discussions, and engage with mentors to refine their consulting toolkit and professional skills.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and research abilities, including data gathering, critical thinking, and problem‑solving.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to structure clear reports and presentations.
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills, including working in diverse, cross‑cultural, and remote teams.
