Role Description
As Product Specialist for Digital Cameras, you will focus on our range of professional cameras from a feature, workflow, technical, operational and solutions point of view.
Your work will provide product insight and essential information, to aid focussed and specific product-led strategic plans, for the wider Blackmagic Design business.
You will support the wider sales team, on consultative meetings and workflow analysis, and, investigate and engage with leading customers, partners and companies in the industry, to inform the resources and assets that you create.
You will support in the creation and delivery of internal training, and work to support marketing campaigns and digital content delivery, providing technical and product expertise for Blackmagic customers.
You will assist in the integration and setup of demonstrations and technical installs at regional and national trade shows and events.
Responsibilities include
- Support the understanding of new products with technical and workflow insights
- Evaluate and revise technical resources for accuracy and relevance
- Inform and support Event and Trade Show teams with technical guidance on demos
- Train and guide Sales at a regional level on tactical delivery of product led strategy
- Support Enterprise Sales with appropriate technical and product customer advice
- Support Partner Sales Managers in development of leading resellers
- Create and deliver internal product sales training to Blackmagic Design teams
- Create and deliver product sales training to selected partners
- Collate feature requests and feedback to inform Product Managers
- Collaborate with PR to build case studies and promotional resources with selected customers
Requirements
- Experience and familiarity with a range of Digital Film Cameras and associated technologies
- Competence and understanding of video, audio and delivery technology
- Ability to work autonomously and maintain high levels of productivity
- Clear communication and presentation skills
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve and other post production applications is advantageous
- Previous experience working in Product Specialist or Technical Sales role is advantageous
