Your Role

This Management Accountant role is a critical addition to our growing team, reporting directly to the Head of Finance. With the business gearing up for growth and an accelerated restaurant roll-out plan, you will provide the financial insight and control needed to navigate an evolving economic climate. Rising costs, wage pressures, and shifting consumer trends make it more important than ever to have robust financial management and strategic decision-making support. The role will ensure the business has clear, accurate financial data, strong cost control, and forward-looking insights, helping to drive sustainable growth and profitability.

Your Responsibilities

  • Work closely with our external accountants to review and analyse monthly management accounts, providing insightful commentary on performance to key stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, collaborating with the operations team to ensure accuracy.
  • Track key financial and operational metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with General Managers to monitor cost efficiencies, stock management, and margin performance.
  • Collaborate with operations, people, property and marketing teams to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Act as the key liaison between the company and the outsourced payroll provider, ensuring accurate and timely submission of payroll data.

Skills & Attributes Needed

  • Part / Fully Qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment, quickly adapting to new challenges and finding solutions under pressure.
  • Can easily build strong relationships across departments, effectively communicating financial insights to non-finance teams.
  • Willingness to roll up your sleeves and get involved in both high-level strategic work and day-to-day finance operations.
  • Experience working with finance systems, EPOS, stock control, and reporting tools to extract and analyse key business data.
  • Understanding of the financial complexities of a multi-site business, including site-by-site performance tracking.
  • Passionate about Food & Drink!
