Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our London team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client accounts day-to-day, building strong relationships, and ensuring projects are delivered to an exceptional standard, on time and on budget.

Working closely with the Account Director and internal production teams, the Account Manager will serve as a key point of contact for clients, coordinating briefs, managing timelines, and helping to identify opportunities for account growth. This is an ideal role for someone with 3+ years of experience in a similar account management position who is confident in owning client relationships and managing the end-to-end delivery of creative projects.

Core Role & Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients, acting as their primary day-to-day point of contact.
  • Develop a solid understanding of each client's business, objectives, and how Blacklist can add value.
  • Translate client briefs clearly and effectively for internal creative and production teams.
  • Coordinate and manage the delivery of projects, ensuring all internal and external stakeholders are aligned on timelines, deliverables and next steps.
  • Attend and contribute to client meetings, capturing key notes, actions and decisions, and following up promptly with the relevant teams.
  • Support the Account Director in identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts, contributing to account development plans.
  • Assist in coordinating the internal pitching process, ensuring briefs are well-communicated and timelines are met.
  • Track and manage all project costs, ensuring estimates, POs, job numbers and invoices are kept up to date and flagging any financial concerns to the Account Director promptly.
  • Ensure all account administration is accurate, organised and maintained to a high standard.
  • Collaborate closely with production teams throughout project execution to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Adopt a mindset of continuous improvement, proactively looking for ways to enhance processes and the client experience.
  • Represent Blacklist positively at industry events and with third-party partners.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in an account management or client services role, ideally within a creative, production or marketing agency.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain confidence with clients.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organisational and time management skills.
  • A commercial mindset, able to spot opportunities and flag risks.
  • Solid understanding of project financials, including budgets, estimates and invoicing.
  • Confident presenting to clients and contributing to pitches.
  • A collaborative team player who works effectively with creative and production colleagues.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented and calm under pressure.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a creative, experiential or entertainment marketing environment.
  • Familiarity with broadcast, streaming, gaming or entertainment industry clients.
  • Exposure to production processes across video, print, digital or live experiences.
