What You’ll Do: As a Solution Advisor (Pre-Sales), you will be a driving force in our most strategic sales pursuits. This is more than a pre-sales role; you are the technical and value-based conscience of the deal, a trusted advisor to the Office of the CFO, and a mentor to the wider solution consulting team. You will leverage your deep domain expertise and commercial acumen to architect compelling, enterprise-scale solutions that solve complex business challenges. Your mission is to shape our largest deals, elevate the capabilities of the team, and act as a key conduit between the field and our product strategy, ensuring we continue to dominate the market.
Responsibilities:
- Lead multi-threaded discovery workshops with senior finance and IT stakeholders to uncover and quantify critical business challenges.
- Design and deliver compelling, persona-driven solution demonstrations that connect our products to tangible business value and strategically differentiate us from the competition.
- Partner directly with prospects to build data-driven business cases, including compelling ROI models that create the financial justification for change.
- Own the technical and value strategy for top-tier accounts, orchestrating resources and acting as a key mentor for the wider presales team to elevate performance.
- Architect and lead the solution for complex RFPs and competitive proofs of concept (POCs), ensuring a clear path to a technical win.
Qualifications:
- A consistent track record as a top-quartile performer in a senior enterprise presales role, with 5+ years of experience selling complex SaaS solutions to the Office of the CFO.
- Demonstrable expertise in leading consultative discovery sessions and co-creating compelling, data-driven business cases and ROI models with enterprise customers.
- Headliner-level presentation skills; you are a captivating storyteller who can command a room of executives or an audience of thousands.
- Deep domain knowledge in a relevant area (e.g., Financial Close) and the commercial acumen to act as a trusted advisor in competitive deals.
- A passion for mentoring and leadership, with proven experience lifting the performance and capabilities of your peers.
- Bonus points for a background in technology consulting or a chartered accounting qualification.

- Prior experience with financial software, a plus.
- Experience creating and delivering compelling presentations, preferred.
