We are seeking an organised and proactive Legal Office Administrator to support our Private Client, Family, and Conveyancing departments. This is a varied role suited to someone with excellent administrative skills, a professional manner, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced legal environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office while providing administrative support across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing incoming calls, emails and client enquiries professionally and efficiently
  • Opening and closing client files in accordance with firm procedures
  • Assisting with ID checks and onboarding new clients
  • Preparing legal documents, correspondence, and court forms
  • Handling post, filing, scanning and document management
  • Assisting with diary management, appointments and other office administration duties as required

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous administrative experience, ideally within a legal environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and case management systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in conveyancing, family law, or private client would be advantageous but not essential
