As an Engineering Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical strategy and leading the evolution of our Data Platform team. You will lead a team of talented data engineers, fostering their growth while driving innovation and excellence in a data-driven, collaborative environment.
YOUR CHALLENGE
- Technical Strategy and Product Evolution
- Data Platform Vision: Oversee the technical vision for the data platform in alignment with our data strategy.
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Data Warehouse architecture, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with data analytics and data science teams to understand their needs and integrate their feedback into the data platform strategy.
- Advocate for data-driven decision-making throughout the organization and ensure that data platforms and tools support these initiatives.
- Craftsmanship and Delivery
- Lead initiatives to implement and refine data governance, data quality, and data security practices within the data platform.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in data engineering, big data technologies, and cloud data solutions to continually enhance the data platform.

ABOUT YOU
- Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, ideally with previous hands-on software engineering experience and a background as a data engineer.
- Experience managing and growing teams in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- Deep understanding of auction systems, marketplaces, or ride-hailing platforms, with a focus on driving tailored and attractive offers.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams and active engagement in decision-making.
- Decisive and confident in handling complex situations.
