Creative Operations Lead

At Blacklane, you’ll lead the creative production engine that brings our brand to life across all communication touchpoints. As we evolve our brand identity and storytelling, your leadership will ensure creative excellence and operational precision to drive efficiencies.

Responsibilities

  • Own and optimise end‑to‑end creative operations, including briefing, resourcing, timelines, approvals, and delivery.
  • Implement and refine processes and tools, especially with AI, to improve visibility, predictability, and efficiency across workflows.
  • Act as bridge between creative and stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable priorities and clear communication.
  • Monitor and report on creative performance metrics, driving continuous improvement through insights and ongoing review.
  • Advocate for the creative function strategically, ensuring workflows, resources, and investment decisions enable long‑term excellence.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders (agencies, vendors) where external support is needed to boost internal resources.
  • Foster a supportive, high‑trust culture, mentoring team members to work confidently, autonomously, and collaboratively.

Your First‑Year Roadmap

  • 3 months: Immerse yourself in the brand, learn the creative and operational ecosystem, and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • 6 months: Take full ownership of studio operations and creative delivery; implement improved workflows and deliver integrated cross‑channel campaigns.
  • 12 months: Scale the studio’s capabilities, build creative systems that elevate brand consistency, improve production efficiency, and strengthen Blacklane’s premium positioning across all touchpoints.

About You

  • You’re a creative operations leader with a balance of vision and execution.
  • You bring 7+ years of experience in creative or production leadership, ideally in premium, global, or lifestyle brands.
  • You have strong expertise in content production (photo, video, design, motion graphics) and deep understanding of digital channels.
  • You have excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to mentor teams and manage multiple projects at pace.
  • You’re confident working cross‑functionally and influencing stakeholders across different functions and levels.
  • You embody Blacklane’s values— we care, we deliver, we drive.
  • You’re adaptable, detail‑oriented, and passionate about shaping the next chapter of a global brand.
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus.

Hiring Process

Expected duration: ~6 weeks.
