The 2D ARTIST ROLE at BLACK KITE
As a 2D Artist at Black Kite you are responsible for delivering creative excellence from pitch through to delivery, across a range of high profile creative VFX projects. You work closely with VFX Supervisors and Leads to seamlessly integrate all layers or elements of a shot, including live-action and CG elements. You will establish looks for visual effects shots, driving both the creative and technical approach. You have knowledge of a range of compositing techniques and workflows. You will collaborate with the VFX Team and Producers to deliver outstanding VFX work on time and on budget.
Your responsibilities include:
- Create outstanding creative VFX work!
- Seamlessly integrate live action and computer-generated elements into visual effects shots that realise the vision and creative direction of our clients.
- Develop visual solutions for a broad range of shots in collaboration with the VFX Supervisor and other artists.
- Use a wide range of compositing techniques and processes including but not limited to: 2D tracking, matte extraction, layering of elements, and colour grading to produce beautiful work.
- Collaborate and proactively communicate with the wider VFX team to ensure we deliver creative excellence at all times.
