We are seeking a Commercial Finance Manager – FP&A & Pricing, to join our Finance team. This is a high‑impact role at the intersection of financial planning and commercial strategy - combining rigorous FP&A discipline with advanced pricing expertise to guide executive decision‑making and accelerate sustainable growth. You will own the end‑to‑end financial planning cycle while leading the development and governance of pricing frameworks that strengthen profitability, sharpen competitive positioning and accelerate deal velocity. Partnering closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Operations, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and a key architect of our financial and commercial strategy.
Responsibilities
- Financial Planning & Analysis
- Annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long‑range planning & coordinating inputs across the business and elevating reporting quality through automation and process improvement.
- Deliver clear, insight‑driven performance and variance analysis, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities and converting findings into decisive, actionable recommendations for business leaders.
- Develop and maintain advanced financial models covering revenue, cost, profitability, and scenario planning to support strategic decision‑making and resource allocation.
- Present concise, commercially grounded financial results and forward‑looking insights to the CFO and executive team while championing data quality, systems optimisation, and continuous FP&A enhancement.
- Pricing Strategy & Commercial Analytics
- Lead the design and evolution of scalable pricing frameworks, models, and approval workflows that strengthen pricing integrity, improve win‑rates, and accelerate deal velocity.
- Deliver deep pricing, margin, and competitive analysis to optimise profitability, support complex deal evaluations, and inform commercial negotiation strategy.
- Develop pricing strategies in partnership with Sales, Product, and Marketing across list pricing, discounts, and promotional.
- Present clear, actionable pricing insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders while advancing pricing operations, governance, and commercial rigour organisation‑wide.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated senior‑level experience leading FP&A and pricing activities in complex organisations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, with strong commercial acumen and the ability to link financial insights to strategic decisions.
- Advanced financial modelling expertise and deep Excel proficiency, supported by experience with BI/visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Proven capability in pricing strategy, financial planning, and commercial analytics within complex, cross‑functional environments (SaaS, fintech, e‑commerce or payments experience advantageous).
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with a track record of engaging senior stakeholders and operational partners across the business.
- Familiarity with planning systems (e.g., Anaplan, Essbase), CRM‑linked commercial processes (e.g., Salesforce), SQL or data‑query tools, and broader ERP/BI platforms (e.g., Dynamics 365).
