Position: Store Manager - Niche Jewellers HQ
Employer: Niche Jewellers
Gross annual salary: £28,000 to £34,000 (depending on designation)
UK location: Edinburgh, Scotland
Working days/hours: up to 37/45 hours within a 5-day week

As well as being commercially aware, you will be responsible for delivering a high standard of customer service to our clients and maintaining a beautifully presented store. The role involves:
- Implementing systematic procedures for securely storing merchandise in vaults at the end of each business day.
- Ensuring the vault is organized and that high-value items are stored properly to prevent damage.
- Implementing TDI (Theft Deterrent Inventory) and maintaining security within the store, supervising the handling of merchandise and cash.
- Managing accounting and inventory management, including ordering stock, receiving deliveries, and conducting regular inventory audits.
- Overseeing banking functions related to the store.
- Ensuring daily operations run smoothly, keeping the store well-organized and clean.
- Recruiting, training, and supervising staff, ensuring high performance and morale.
- Setting and achieving sales goals, motivating the team to meet targets.
- Handling customer inquiries and complaints, providing exceptional service.
- Coordinating with our e-commerce team to ensure seamless integration between our online and physical store.
- Displaying showcase jewellery and developing timelines and schedules for completion of bespoke orders.
- Overseeing all work done as part of the project and ensuring site security and health & safety measures.
- Monitoring project progress and setting deadlines.
- Mentoring and providing guidance to junior employees, where applicable.
