We're looking for an experienced Engineer to join our team.

This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll work on everything from amusement rides and attractions to vehicles, plant and mechanical equipment.

No two days are the same.

The Role

Working within our Maintainance Team, you'll play a key role in maintaining the park's rides, attractions and mechanical assets to the highest standards of safety and reliability.

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on rides and attractions.
  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out mechanical repairs.
  • Completing daily, weekly and monthly ride safety inspections using our digital maintenance management system (Mobaro).
  • Supporting the annual ride overhaul programme and preparing rides for independent inspection.
  • Maintaining site vehicles, generators, compressors, plant and horticultural equipment.
  • Assisting with fabrication, refurbishment and improvement projects across the park.
  • Maintaining accurate engineering records and ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the park to minimise downtime and maintain an exceptional guest experience.

About You

You’ll be a practical, safety-conscious engineer who enjoys problem solving and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.

Ideally you’ll have

  • A recognised engineering qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 2 or above, or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in mechanical maintenance within manufacturing, industrial, automotive, agricultural, marine, logistics or leisure environments.
  • Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confidence using digital maintenance systems and mobile technology.
  • A full UK driving licence.

Previous experience within the attractions industry is advantageous but not essential. Full training will be provided on our rides and systems.
