As we continue to grow, we're looking for a proactive and commercially minded Sales Development Researcher to join our team and play a key role in identifying and engaging prospective clients.

As a Sales Development Researcher, you'll be responsible for identifying target organisations, researching key decision-makers, and building high-quality prospect data to support our sales and marketing efforts.

You'll work closely with our Business Development and Leadership teams to ensure Thrive is connecting with organisations that are passionate about supporting employee wellbeing through meaningful benefits and financial education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify prospective client organisations across a range of sectors.
  • Build and maintain targeted databases of HR, Reward, Benefits, Wellbeing and People leaders.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities and key employer challenges.
  • Support outbound sales campaigns with accurate and relevant prospect intelligence.
  • Qualify potential leads against predefined criteria.
  • Maintain and update CRM records to ensure data accuracy.
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry developments within the employee benefits and wellbeing sector.
  • Produce insights and reports to support sales strategy and pipeline growth.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to refine targeting and campaign effectiveness

Person Specification

Essential

  • Previous experience in a research, sales development, lead generation or business development support role.
  • Strong online research and data-gathering skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to analyse information and identify potential business opportunities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence working with CRM systems and Linked In.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities independently.

Desirable

  • Experience within employee benefits, financial services, HR technology or wellbeing sectors.
  • Knowledge of HR, Reward and Benefits decision-making structures.
  • Familiarity with sales intelligence and prospecting tools.
  • Experience supporting B2B sales teams.
