The Digital Lead is responsible for maximising commercial growth across the Blackfinch Investments and Blackfinch Asset Management businesses. They will build and operate a sophisticated martech stack that ensures budgets are efficiently used to grow AUM and gain market share for tax efficient investments, Managed Portfolio Services and Tailored Portfolio Services. Focus on strategising and executing digital campaigns to launch products/services, drive leads, and achieve revenue goals, blending traditional GTM strategy (product, sales alignment) with digital tactics like SEO, PPC, content, and social media, often leading small crossâfunctional teams to manage user experience, traffic funnels, and performance measurement for ROI.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, manage and operate a hubspot-centered martech stack. The stack must optimise marketing budget and maximise lead generation.
- Produce accurate reporting to show the return on investment for marketing campaigns, showing inflow attribution to the channel mix and spend.
- Work closely with the data team and engineering to influence data management regarding marketing and sales activities. Guide digital teams in website UX, content creation, and campaign management.
- Own the organic and paid social media, SEO, AEO, SEM, website and email channels to grow our engaged target audience of financial advisers.
- Produce effective campaign plans and own delivery to achieve campaign targets. Develop comprehensive digital GTM strategies, aligning marketing with sales & product for launches.
- Work with sales to gain informative feedback that helps iterate and shape the volume, quality, value and cost of campaigns to grow the business.
- Provide valuable and constructive feedback into other marketing initiatives, representing digital channels, to facilitate the team achieving the best possible results.
- In times of absence, you will be required to deputise for the head of marketing.
Tech Stack (Current & Expected Competency)
- Hubspot, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google AdWords including pmax - proven experience owning the strategy and implementation.
- Power BI reporting.
Skills & Experience
- Technical understanding of Hubspot, GA4, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google AdWords inc pmax.
- Ad tracking and media spend tracking.
- ROI and attribution reporting.
- Campaign optimisation for lead generation.
- Solid understanding of financial services regulated promotions and regulatory frameworks.
- Proven track record of planning and managing email, social media accounts and growth campaigns that have effective results.
- Strong grasp of performance marketing, analytics, content.
- Experience of financial services, or a similarly regulated industry, highly preferable.
- GTM Acumen: Understanding of market dynamics, positioning, and crossâfunctional alignment.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to manage teams, budgets, and drive strategy.
- Be comfortable working in a busy team, where multiple projects and priorities are running concurrently.
- Be a fantastic communicator, managing stakeholder expectations and keeping everyone up to speed on progress, challenges or opportunities.
