We are currently looking for a Group Head of Marketing to join the Blackfinch Group. The Group Head of Marketing is responsible for the end-to-end marketing strategy and execution across a financial investment organisation operating at group level with multiple subsidiaries. This is a senior role with group-wide remit: shaping growth strategy, defining go-to-market direction, protecting and elevating reputation, and building a scalable marketing operating model that enables sustainable growth.
Working directly with the CEO and alongside the Group Leadership Team, the role leads every aspect of the marketing spectrum—brand, positioning, communications, digital, demand generation, product and proposition marketing, customer lifecycle, thought leadership, partnerships, events, marketing operations, and analytics. A strong understanding of regulatory compliance in a financial services environment is essential; the role will set standards for marketing governance and ensure marketing activity is compliant, auditable, and risk-aware across all subsidiaries.
Please note, this role is offered on a hybrid contract whereby there is a requirement to work from our Elkstone office in Gloucestershire 2-3 times per week.

- Significant senior marketing leadership experience (typically 10+ years), including leading multi-disciplinary marketing functions.
- Proven track record of delivering strategic growth through GTM, brand, and performance marketing in financial services / investments / asset management / wealth / fintech or similarly regulated environments.
- Strong working knowledge of financial promotions and marketing compliance including governance, approvals, disclosures, and evidence standards for claims.
- Demonstrable experience operating at a senior level, influencing CEOs/Boards/ExCo and leading cross-functional agendas.
- Proven capability in organisation design, team building, and developing leaders.
- Strong commercial acumen with robust measurement discipline and ability to demonstrate marketing impact.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and decision-making skills in complex, multi-entity environments.
- Experience leading marketing across a group structure with multiple brands/subsidiaries.
- Experience supporting growth through partnerships/platforms and/or market entry.
- Deep capability in marketing operations, automation, attribution, and data strategy.
- Strategic, commercially minded, and outcomes-driven.
