ResponsibilitiesThe RoleReporting to the Technical Packaging Manager, you will be responsible for leading and delivering packaging-related projects from concept through to implementation. You will work cross-functionally across production, engineering, quality, supply chain, and external suppliers to ensure successful project execution and continuous improvement.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead packaging projects including new product introductions (NPI), new supplier approvals, tooling changes, and material changes.
Manage packaging-related change controls and ensure timely implementation.
Lead packaging qualification, validation, and line trial activities.
Investigate deviations, complaints, and quality issues, driving CAPA activities to closure.
Support and lead continuous improvement initiatives across packaging operations. Generate technical documentation, reports, and validation protocols.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams and external partners.
Support regulatory compliance, GMP requirements, and audit activities.

Essential ExperiencePrevious experience as a Packaging Technologist or in a similar technical packaging role.
Hands-on experience within a manufacturing and packaging environment. Strong knowledge of packaging materials, components, and packaging processes.
Experience managing packaging equipment, tooling, or material changes.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
DesirableExperience within the pharmaceutical industry.
Packaging Technology qualification such as PIABC Level 5 Diploma in Packaging Technology.
Project Management qualification.
