Blackfield Associates are partnering a leading Healthcare Consultancy who are entering an exciting organic growth phase and witnessing a continued uptake of engagement from their long standing and trusted client portfolio. To support in their plans and to enhance their client journey, they are keen to engage an experienced Medical Writer to join their dynamic practice and play a pivotal role in shaping the future growth and development of the team and their market offering.

The client in mind is active in their search and keen to engage individuals with proven market access writing experience and looking to further their career towards a leadership pathway. Operating in this autonomous and visible setting your responsibilities will include:

  • Act as lead writer in the delivery of high-quality content
  • Lead market access focused projects including those that have a significant medical writing component.
  • Develop the teams “house style” and similar editorial standards, processes and templates, while also being responsible for reviewing the work of other members of the team and contributing to team training and development of internal resources tools and processes
  • People responsibilities including the line management and development of junior members of the team
  • Conduct targeted secondary research utilising a wide variety of sources
  • Support the conduct of qualitative and quantitative payer research and analysis to identify opportunities and challenges for client products in various healthcare markets
  • Develop value messages, dossiers, and other related payer value communication materials e.g. payer value decks, toolkits, objection handlers and internal training materials
  • Support the preparation of client-facing presentations and reports, effectively communicating complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Manage projects and main client contact
  • Contribute to thought leadership, business development and marketing activities

To be considered you must be accustomed to managing the development of a wide variety of market access/ value communication deliverables, including Global Value Dossiers (GVDs), American Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) dossiers, other payer formulary packs, payer value decks, HTA submissions, value driver identification and value story development, real world study reports, SLR reports, training materials and related focused manuscripts.
