We are seeking a driven and commercially astute Project Manager to deliver a wide range of project works within a Total Facilities Management (TFM) environment. This is a home-based role with regular travel to sites nationwide. This is a full time on site role.

The Opportunity: You will have full accountability for managing and delivering multiple projects ranging from £20,000 to £2,000,000, taking them from initial brief through to completion and handover. This is a true end-to-end role — offering autonomy, responsibility, and the opportunity to build trusted relationships with key stakeholders.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Delivering multiple project works
  • Acting as a trusted advisor — consulting with clients to define briefs and Employer’s Requirements
  • Managing consultants, designers, specialists, and subcontractors
  • Producing and controlling detailed project programmes
  • Leading compliant tender processes in collaboration with commercial teams
  • Managing CDM responsibilities and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Identifying and mitigating statutory and commercial risks
  • Ensuring SHEQ standards are embedded throughout delivery
  • Managing budgets, margins, payment schedules, and subcontractor accounts
  • Providing weekly progress and financial updates
  • Leading projects through practical completion to defects close-out and BAU handover

You’ll take ownership of operational delivery, driving performance, managing risk, and ensuring every project meets quality, time, and financial objectives.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ Project Management experience in M&E, FM, construction, or critical environments
  • Proven end-to-end project delivery experience
  • Experience managing projects within a TFM environment

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong commercial awareness and financial management capability
  • Confident negotiator with strong influencing skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of construction market and H&S legislation
  • Competent in recognised project management methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, MAPM, RIBA)
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven

Qualifications

  • Recognised technical qualification (or 5+ years equivalent experience)
  • CDM awareness
  • IOSH Managing Safely and/or SMSTS
  • NEBOSH (desirable)
  • Recognised Project Management qualification (desirable)
