Blackfield Associates are supporting a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in their search for a Project Technician to join their Production Engineering team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a technically skilled and motivated individual to contribute to key engineering projects that ensure compliance, reliability, and innovation within a modern GMP manufacturing and packaging environment. The position is initially available on a 2 year FTC basis, but with strong potential to become permanent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering technical expertise in support of project and operational activities, ensuring compliance with GMP and Good Engineering Practice (GEP).
  • Lead small-scale engineering projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage internal and external engineering resources and coordinate day-to-day project activities.
  • Oversee contractor management, including inductions, risk assessments, and permit-to-work processes.
  • Drive improvements in equipment reliability, availability, and cost efficiency.
