We are looking for an experienced CAPEX Project/Program Manager to lead and coordinate a programme of CAPEX projects within a pharmaceutical environment. The role involves managing a programme of small, medium and large scale projects. The ideal candidate will need a strong technical background in biopharmaceutical engineering with a specific background in biologics and high containment facilities. The candidate will act as a central point of governance and coordination, driving project excellence and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a portfolio of capital projects from initiation through to handover, ensuring compliance with GMP and internal governance standards.
- Develop project charters, scopes, budgets and schedules.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering and production.
- Oversee project execution including design, procurement, construction, commissioning and qualification.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, consultants and contractors.
- Establish and maintain governance structures, risk management process and reporting mechanisms.
- Adhere to safety, quality and regulatory requirements through all project stages.
What you need
- Degree in an engineering discipline.
- Experience in end-to-end capital project management.
- Strong knowledge of biologics and high containment environments.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects of different sizes.
- Willingness for at least 3 days on site.
