Blackfield Associates are recruiting for a Process Engineer to join a leading biopharmaceutical company at their Wrexham site. This is a full-time permanent role working on an exciting new facility. As such, a flexible and adaptable attitude and an enthusiasm for overseeing innovative projects is paramount.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct technical appraisals and lead design reviews
- Adhere to current GMP requirements.
- Manage project work packages by aligning with objectives, timelines, and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with the project engineering team and engage site personnel.
- Coordinate with vendors for design reviews, fabrication, installation, and testing activities.
- Manage safe equipment start up, shutdown, and job control practices.
Requirements
Education:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Professional qualification / association with IChemE, IMechE, ISPE, or similar is preferred.
Experience:
- Capital projects experience equating to a competent understanding of each stage – an understanding of engineering design processes is fundamental.
- An understanding of engineering best practices within a GMP (or otherwise regulated) environment.
- A pharmaceutical background is most desirable.
