Our client is seeking a Territory Sales Manager who will drive the sales and distribution of Operating Room products, including Laparoscopic, Cardiac, Vascular, and Urology/Gynaecology devices, to clinicians across Scotland.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide clinical support to customers in the areas of Laparoscopic, Cardiovascular, Thoracic, Urology, and Gynaecology instrumentation and consumables.
- Develop and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key customers, turning them into trusted business partnerships.
- Assist customers with clinical, technical, and commercial enquiries.
- Conduct business planning and implementation throughout your area of responsibility, identifying new business opportunities and evaluating client and market potential.
- Systematically collect, present, and interpret market and competitor information to inform strategy.
- Provide feedback on customers, promotional programs, and market changes, offering ideas to improve product and company performance.
- Implement new product launches and other corporate initiatives within your area of responsibility.
- Attend relevant conferences and meetings to maintain knowledge of industry trends.
- Take ownership of your continuous professional and personal development.
Role Requirements
- Proven experience as a Surgical Sales professional with 3+ years in Medical Sales.
- Experience selling into operating theatres, with an advantage if you have existing relationships in Gynaecology and Urology specialties.
- Clinical or Medical Device sales experience is essential.
- Highly driven and proactive, with strong planning, organizational, and account management skills.
- Willingness to travel across Scotland as required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
