Regulatory Affairs Manager – Cosmetics Produces
Blackfield Associates are pleased to share an exclusive and exciting opportunity for an experienced Regulatory Manager to join a Global Regulatory Affairs function, supporting regulatory compliance activities across a portfolio of cosmetics and packaging. We are looking for a strong people leader, who has deep insight into the development process of new cosmetic products.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of regulatory compliance policies, procedures, and programmes.
- Ensure compliance with UK and European regulatory requirements for cosmetics and consumer products.
- Interpret complex regulations and communicate requirements clearly across the business.
- Provide regulatory oversight for new product launches across Europe.
- Review, approve, and support the release of new products to market.
- Ensure compliance throughout the product lifecycle, including product changes and updates.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure delivery against agreed timelines.
Skills and Experience required:
- Degree in scientific discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of direct regulatory affairs experience in cosmetic
- Previous line management/ leadership experience
- Practical knowledge of UK and European cosmetics regulations.
- Experience supporting regulatory compliance, product launches, and lifecycle management.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional influencing skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Additional Information:
- This is a permanent, full‑time position.
- We are not looking for a Medical device background, purely cosmetic formulations
- Based at the central London office, with hybrid working required (2 Days per week in office req)
- Travel - There is monthly travel to the companies manufacturing sites or other key offices, located in the South East.
- Sponsorship is not available – candidates must have full right to work in the UK
- 2 Line reports - Applicants must have previous line management
