Regulatory Affairs Manager – Cosmetics Produces

Blackfield Associates are pleased to share an exclusive and exciting opportunity for an experienced Regulatory Manager to join a Global Regulatory Affairs function, supporting regulatory compliance activities across a portfolio of cosmetics and packaging. We are looking for a strong people leader, who has deep insight into the development process of new cosmetic products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of regulatory compliance policies, procedures, and programmes.
  • Ensure compliance with UK and European regulatory requirements for cosmetics and consumer products.
  • Interpret complex regulations and communicate requirements clearly across the business.
  • Provide regulatory oversight for new product launches across Europe.
  • Review, approve, and support the release of new products to market.
  • Ensure compliance throughout the product lifecycle, including product changes and updates.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure delivery against agreed timelines.

Skills and Experience required:

  • Degree in scientific discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of direct regulatory affairs experience in cosmetic
  • Previous line management/ leadership experience
  • Practical knowledge of UK and European cosmetics regulations.
  • Experience supporting regulatory compliance, product launches, and lifecycle management.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

Additional Information:

  • This is a permanent, full‑time position.
  • We are not looking for a Medical device background, purely cosmetic formulations
  • Based at the central London office, with hybrid working required (2 Days per week in office req)
  • Travel - There is monthly travel to the companies manufacturing sites or other key offices, located in the South East.
  • Sponsorship is not available – candidates must have full right to work in the UK
  • 2 Line reports - Applicants must have previous line management
