We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Facilities Engineer, to join an established GMP manufacturing organisation. This will be on an initial 12 month contract basis, inside IR35. The core responsibilities will be to provide essential maintenance and engineering support across multiple sites, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and maintain complex plant systems, including compressed air, chilled water, autoclaves, HVAC, fire pumps, and steam systems. Carry out preventative maintenance on including compressed air, chilled water, autoclaves, HVAC, fire pumps, and steam systems. Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and emergency repairs to building infrastructure. Track maintenance progress in CMMS and communicate equipment downtime. Ensure contractors follow HSE guidelines and issue work permits. Candidates must be qualified in mechanical or electrical engineering, with a strong understanding of health and safety regulations, COSHH, and the ability to interpret technical drawings. Experience working in a pharmaceutical, food or GMP environment would be distinctly advantageous but isn’t essential. A track record in engineering maintenance is required. A recognised Apprenticeship or equivalent is necessary.
