We are recruiting for an experienced and strategic leader to take on a pivotal role in real-world evidence generation and health economic outcomes within a dynamic and purpose-driven life sciences organisation. This position reports to the Head of Patient Access and is responsible for leading the development and execution of an international evidence-generation programme focused on a rare disease area, with an initial emphasis on data collection from Centres of Expertise across Europe.

The successful candidate will ensure the programme is fully integrated into broader evidence-generation efforts, with a critical role in shaping health economics strategies to support regulatory, HTA, and payer engagement across key European territories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the strategy, planning and operational execution of a rare disease Real-World Evidence programme, ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage delivery in partnership with an external CRO to meet programme timelines and budget.
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with expert treatment centres across Europe; oversee collaborations through one-to-one engagement and programme-level governance (e.g., Steering Committees).
  • Act as the operational lead for evidence generation partnerships, ensuring coordination across internal cross-functional teams and external scientific partners.
  • Identify and onboard additional potential participating centres; support the development of data analysis strategies and outputs.
  • Lead or support the publication of key data outputs and present findings in external forums to further stakeholder engagement and understanding.
  • Work closely with regulatory and market access functions to co-develop the programme alongside data customers such as HTA bodies and payers.
  • Contribute to the development of health economic models and value propositions; support interactions with pricing and reimbursement authorities.
  • Ensure seamless integration of the Real-World Evidence programme into broader Medical Affairs and Evidence Generation strategy.
  • Build strong, respectful partnerships with advocacy organisations and relevant stakeholders within the rare disease community.
  • Collaborate effectively with alliance or industry partners to deliver programme objectives as part of a shared initiative.
Candidate Profile:
  • 7–10 years of experience in Real-World Evidence, health economics, registries, or related functions within pharma or biotech.
  • Advanced degree in health economics, public health, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong knowledge of real-world data sources and analytical approaches.
  • Familiarity with patient-reported outcomes (PROs), economic modelling, and value demonstration to payers/HTAs is highly advantageous.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects across geographies.
  • High emotional intelligence, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to influence across functions.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Demonstrated commitment to addressing unmet medical needs in a meaningful way.
