Development Chemist | Kent | Competitive Salary Blackfield Associates are supporting a leading organisation in the FMCG sector, in recruiting for a Development Chemist to join their Research & Development team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a driven individual with a passion for innovation, product development, and collaboration with global teams. The Role As a Development Chemist, you will play a pivotal role in creating cutting-edge products that respond to consumer needs and market trends. You'll oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from feasibility studies to market launch. Key Responsibilities Formulating and developing new products in collaboration with global partners. Managing an existing portfolio while generating new product and claims ideas. Preparing laboratory and stability samples, as well as developing product demonstrations. Presenting research and project updates to diverse audiences. Supporting laboratory and clinical tests to validate product safety and efficacy. Collaborating with internal teams (Marketing, Technical, Quality Control, Packaging). Managing equipment use, maintenance, and calibration. Providing mentorship and guidance to Junior Chemists or interns. Requirements: Excellent communication and leadership abilities to drive cross-functional collaboration.
