We are supporting a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing site in the search for a Maintenance & Reliability Director based in North Wales. This senior leadership role will shape and deliver the site’s maintenance strategy, drive asset reliability across a 24/7 regulated facility, and lead a team of around 45 engineering professionals. The position sits on the Site Leadership Team and plays a key role in long‑term operational excellence.
Key focus areas include:
- Leading maintenance and reliability strategy across the site
- Developing and motivating a large multi‑disciplinary team
- Ensuring compliance with EHS and cGxP requirements
- Maintaining validated/qualified equipment and infrastructure
- Driving continuous improvement and reliability programmes
- Managing maintenance budgets and investment planning
Ideal background:
- Senior leadership experience in maintenance/reliability within a regulated, 24/7 operation
- Pharma, bioprocessing or sterile manufacturing experience preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of maintenance systems, reliability engineering, and facility upgrades
- Proven leadership of large teams
- Experience at SLT level
