An established and highly regarded construction consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its growing commercial team, supporting the delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects across Central London.

The business works across a broad range of sectors including commercial, residential, mixed-use, infrastructure, life sciences, industrial and mission-critical environments, offering genuine variety and long-term project exposure. While the consultancy has growing involvement within the Data Centre sector, the role is not limited to this area and will provide the opportunity to work across multiple project types depending on client and business requirements.

This opportunity would suit an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to join a collaborative consultancy environment where they can work on complex, high-value developments while continuing to broaden their sector experience.

Working as part of an experienced commercial team, you will be involved in the successful delivery of projects from early-stage cost planning through to final account. The position offers a strong blend of client-facing responsibility, technical commercial work and project leadership.

Projects are primarily located across Central London, with occasional involvement in wider UK schemes depending on client requirements.

  • Commercial management of construction projects from inception to completion
  • Cost planning, budgeting and financial reporting
  • Contract administration and change control
  • Preparation and agreement of valuations and final accounts
  • Identifying and managing commercial risk
  • Supporting junior members of the commercial team where appropriate

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within construction, consultancy or major projects environments.

Experience delivering medium to large-scale construction projects.

Excellent commercial awareness and communication skills.

Diverse project portfolio across multiple sectors.
