You will be part of a national Building Design Practice, working alongside highly experienced engineers across the UK and international technical teams. This is an opportunity to contribute to high-impact, multi-sector projects ranging from government campuses and specialist education facilities to advanced defence environments and university frameworks.

Working within a highly respected Building Services Engineering team, you will play a key role in delivering innovative, sustainable and technically challenging projects while helping to advance energy efficiency, air quality improvements and decarbonisation initiatives.

Lead and deliver electrical building services designs from concept through to detailed design. Design electrical systems including power, lighting, life safety systems, telecommunications, security systems, lifts and lightning protection. Demonstrate strong team leadership capabilities, work-winning experience, commercial awareness and confidence in client-facing environments. Produce detailed electrical calculations using software such as Amtech, Dialux/Relux and Excel. Work closely with BIM teams, applying your knowledge of Revit for modelling and drawing production. Undertake site surveys, inspections and commissioning reviews. Manage your workload to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards, on time and within budget.

Strong experience within Building Services Engineering with a passion for high-quality building design. Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline. Proficient in industry-standard software including Amtech/ProDesign, Dialux/Relux, NBS and Microsoft Office applications. Working knowledge of Revit and BIM processes. Familiarity with energy reduction strategies, decarbonisation and energy/carbon analysis. Experience with commissioning, performance evaluation and design for measurement and verification.
