Our client is a well-established specialist within the HVAC commissioning sector, delivering high-quality commissioning, flushing, balancing, and validation services across major Data Centre, Life Science, commercial, , industrial, and critical environment projects throughout the UK and Europe.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are now seeking an experienced Commissioning / Project Manager to join their expanding operations team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and commercially aware individual with a background in HVAC commissioning, water treatment/flushing, and air & water balancing who is looking to progress within a highly respected business.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing HVAC commissioning projects from pre-construction through to final client handover, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest technical standards.
You will coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and specialist engineers while acting as the main point of contact between clients, consultants, and contractors.
Key responsibilities will include
- Managing HVAC commissioning projects across multiple sites
- Water flushing and chemical cleaning activities
- Closed system treatment
- Air and water balancing (TAB)
- HVAC commissioning and validation works
- Reviewing project specifications, drawings, and commissioning requirements
- Producing and managing commissioning programmes and progress reports
- Coordinating commissioning engineers, balancing teams, and subcontractors
- Attending client and site coordination meetings
- Ensuring compliance with BSRIA, CIBSE, and project-specific standards
- Managing QA documentation, witnessing, and final handover packs
- Monitoring project progress, budgets, and technical delivery
- Supporting problem resolution and technical troubleshooting on site
