Holyrood Academy is seeking a Science Technician to join our committed and supportive team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about science education to play a key role in supporting high-quality teaching and learning.

We are flexible in our approach and welcome applications from candidates interested in full-time, part-time, or job share arrangements.

About the Role

Working within our Science Department, you will:

  • Prepare and maintain equipment and resources for practical lessons
  • Support teachers in delivering engaging experiments
  • Ensure laboratories are safe, organised, and fully equipped
  • Promote excellent health & safety standards

You will be part of a positive, hardworking team dedicated to ensuring every student achieves their very best. This role is an excellent opportunity for anyone considering a future career in teaching, offering first-hand experience in the classroom and working alongside teaching staff.
