Working with a growing boutique firm looking to hire a UK/US Head of Trusts & Estates for their expanding Private Client Tax team. Founded in 2021, the firm has quickly grown to 13 people across UK/US private client and US business tax. They’ve built a strong reputation as a more modern alternative to the larger firms, offering a genuinely better work-life balance with no timesheets, smaller client portfolios, and a more relaxed culture. Based near St Paul’s, this is a key leadership hire with a clear progression path as the firm continues to expand.

The role will focus on leading the firm’s trusts and estates offering, overseeing complex US trust compliance matters, advising clients on planning opportunities, and mentoring junior staff.

Requirements:

  • Strong US trust tax experience, including Forms 3520/3520-A and DNI/UNI trust accounts
  • US CPA or EA qualification
  • Solid US/UK private client tax experience
  • Previous Big 4, mid-tier, or boutique firm background preferred
  • Strong client management and leadership skills
