Position Overview
As a Projects & Innovations Manager you will play a crucial role in supporting the firm's leadership team and driving change initiatives across the organisation using your project and change management skills. You will have the opportunity to apply your expertise in project management, process improvement, and change management to identify opportunities for business transformation and deliver tangible results.
Responsibilities
- Support the Projects & Innovation leadership team in the planning and execution of major change initiatives by applying your project management skills.
- Independently lead and manage smaller change projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
- Provide coaching and guidance to less experienced colleagues, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with various business areas to understand their needs and challenges.
- Conduct thorough analysis to identify opportunities for business change and process optimisation.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, presenting findings and recommendations in a clear and compelling manner.
- Apply best practices in project management, leveraging tools and methodologies such as Prince2, Agile, and LEAN Six Sigma.
- Act as a champion of continuous improvement and collaboration, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
Requirements
- Proven experience in project management, process improvement, and change management, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment.
- Accreditations such as Prince2, Agile, or LEAN Six Sigma are desirable but not essential.
- Demonstrated leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong understanding of the commercial, organisational, and financial context in which the firm operates.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
