Salary Grade C, SCP 3-5 (£24,796.00 to £25,583.00) per annum. Additional 5% for weekend working

Terms & Conditions: 17 hours per week, Part Time, Permanent

We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and customer-focused individual to join our team at our busy 3G Football Facility on a permanent weekend contract.

Working Hours:
17 hours per week, with shifts scheduled between 8:00am and 6:30pm on weekends.
Annual leave entitlement will be provided on a pro-rata basis.

About the Role

As a Leisure Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring our facility remains safe, clean, welcoming, and fully operational for all users. Duties will include:

  • Setting up and dismantling sports equipment, including goalposts, flags, and nets.
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility.
  • Cleaning toilet and changing room facilities.
  • Emptying bins and undertaking litter picking duties across the site.
  • Assisting customers and responding to member enquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the facility.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Is reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work.
  • Can work independently using their own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Is confident when interacting with members of the public and service users.
  • Has a proactive approach to maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
  • Is willing to undertake physically active tasks as part of the role.
