An exciting opportunity has arisen within the busy Housing Needs Service. We are seeking to recruit two hardworking, highly motivated individuals to the position of HousingNeeds Officer.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive, high perfoming Adult Services team and to contribute to the Housing Needs service's strong track record in supporting vulnerable applicants who are homeless or experiencing challenging housing circumstances.
You will work in a busy, fast paced and exciting environment and be responsible for delivering the Council's statutory housing and homeless responsibilties, carrying out assessments for households who require assistance under the Homelessness Legislation.
The successful applicant will demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to support households who often present with complex and challenging needs. Experience of Housing Legislation, multi agency and partnership working is essential. Please refer to the job description and person specification documents for further details.
