Environmental Operative – Street Scene & HGV Training

Blackburn with Darwen Council is seeking an Environmental Operative to join the Street Scene team. The role covers maintaining a clean, green, and safe environment across the borough, with 37 hours per week in a five-day rota (Sun–Sat).

Shortlisting takes place on 11th & 12th September 2026; interviews are scheduled for 21st September 2026. Successful candidates will be supported to obtain an HGV driving licence within 9 months of starting, with training provided.
