This is an exciting time to join Blackburn with Darwen's Venues Team. With King George's Hall preparing to reopen following a £13.5 million transformation, we are looking for a number of Casual Bar and Catering Assistants to set up and close down events, serve drinks and food on our refurbished bars and café points, across both King George's Hall and Darwen Library Theatre.
From major concerts and theatre productions to conferences, private events and community celebrations, you'll play a key role in ensuring visitors receive an outstanding experience. You will help our hospitality and bar teams, deliver excellent customer service and ensure the highest standards of quality and presentation.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience within hospitality, catering or licensed operations.
- Flourishes in a fast-paced environment and enjoys high-profile events.
- Aged 18+
This is more than a hospitality role. It's an opportunity to contribute to the visitor experience at two of Blackburn with Darwen's flagship venues and play a leading part in the reopening of one of Lancashire's most iconic entertainment destinations.
