We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to work creatively with children, young people and their families to provide excellent, high quality Family Time. The successful candidate will need to be organised, creative and a skilled communicator, with a desire to drive best practice. You must be able to advocate on a child or young person's behalf and ensure their thoughts and feelings are listened to and their participation is valued, contributing to their life story work.
The role requires you to work collaboratively with families in a strength-based and trauma-informed approach, being empathic and supporting families to be aspirational. You will support families in becoming more resilient and develop greater confidence in their skills. We want the best for families and to help them sustain change.
In order to accomplish all this for our children, young people and their families, you will receive a thorough induction and training, regular supervision, annual appraisal and experience a strong and supportive culture.
A relevant Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in an associated field, i.e. Child Care, Youth Work, Working with Children and Young People, is an essential requirement of this role.
