An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our current and deeply committed Building Control team as we look to appoint the right candidate to the role of a Registered Building Inspector. This key role will help support Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council’s responsibilities under the Building Safety Act delivering high-quality Building Control services across the borough. You’ll be an integral part of a dynamic and motivated team that undertakes restricted functions and restricted activities, as appropriate to the level of your competency, as well as other building control related activities as required. The Council will also offer the necessary supervision for activities outside current competency levels to ensure continuing professional development along with support in career progression.
Responsibilities

- Offering excellent customer service to ensure safe, compliant, and sustainable development across the borough of Blackburn with Darwen.

Qualifications
- HNC, HND or NVQ level 4 in Building Studies or related construction subject.
- Appointment for the post will be based on experience and meeting the requirements of the respective Key Requirements document.
